Q&A with Ekkta

What’s the common thread that runs through your career?

Intentionality creates impact. The times I’ve grown the most weren’t accidental, they came from being clear about what I cared about and why I was doing something. Whether it’s navigating a career move, tackling a complex project, or building new relationships, I’ve found that clarity of purpose leads to more meaningful outcomes. Being intentional has helped me stay grounded while pushing myself to take on challenges.

What’s one of your superpowers?

Practicing emotional equilibrium has been huge for me. Pressure does strange things — it can make us second-guess ourselves, rush decisions, or stick with the wrong ones just because we’ve already committed. Having emotional equilibrium helps me step back, take a breath, and say, “Okay, what’s actually the best move here?” without ego or panic. It keeps the team aligned, builds trust, and makes sure we don’t lose sight of what truly matters, even when things get intense. For me, it’s about bringing clarity to chaos and empathy to communication when it counts the most.

A book you commonly gift to people?

The Brain That Changes Itself by Norman Doidge, The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

In your spare time?

I love to hike, travel, try community workout classes and go on runs by the beach with my sister. I really value spending time with family and friends, especially game nights!
