We are pleased to share that Amrit Rao is now a Partner at Village Global.

Leaders at Village need to be intellectually versatile. Amrit has lived a Village Global life:

From majoring in biological sciences at Stanford and going on to co-author multiple research papers in the field of computer graphics and computer-assisted surgery at Stanford/NASA's National Biocomputation Center, to leading a successful 12 year investing career on Wall Street backing a variety of tech and consumer businesses, to more recently founding and scaling an advanced manufacturing business.

We’ve been working with Amrit for the past 4.5 years, first as a portfolio CEO and then as an Investor & EIR. Over the past couple years, we’ve heard from our founders that his battle scars from raising lots of venture money, hiring, shipping product, etc., as an entrepreneur has led to earned wisdom that makes him unusually helpful.

We’re super excited for him to bring his rare blend of IQ and EQ to the Village community and to our future collaborations for many years to come.
