Maya is an Investor at Village Global. 

She recently spent time as an Investor on the Greylock consumer team, supporting founders across the early to growth stage. Most recently, Maya led her own incubation from 0-1. Prior to Greylock, Maya developed a strong track record in product management leading teams at top consumer companies including Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Rent the Runway. 

She’s originally from Miami Beach, raised by a Brazilian mother and Israeli father. Her first taste of entrepreneurship was through founding a series of businesses in high school, which then led her to study computer science at Cornell University. She’s actively involved in social impact work through her own personal projects as well as advising the founding team of USWNT champions at re—inc.

What’s the common thread that runs through your career?

Aligning with purpose-driven people and bold narratives. It’s wonderful to be part of stories that are not just ambitious in their goals but also meaningful in their execution, shaping my career that is as fulfilling as it is dynamic.

What’s one of your superpowers?

Reading the room and consequently, reading people.

You can find me biking up Hawk Hill in San Francisco or spending time with family and friends in Miami or New York City.
