Q&A with Daysi
What’s the common thread that runs through your career?
I love seeing how all of the moving pieces of organizations come together and enabling those processes. Whether it’s scoping out customer feature requests with engineers or working with sales and marketing teams before a product launch, I’ve enjoyed bringing people together to work on a common goal.
What’s one of your superpowers?
I’m naturally curious about how the world works and how other people see the world. It might lead me down the occasional rabbit hole, but for the most part I end up learning something new and useful. It’s also led to genuine connections with interesting people, which I’m grateful for.
A book you commonly gift to people?
10% Happier — I was a little skeptical of meditation before reading this, but Dan Harris does a great job of showing practical applications of mindfulness in day-to-day life. He also explains how being more zen doesn’t mean losing your edge or drive.
In your spare time?
I’ve been a digital nomad for over a year now and love to explore new places. I also enjoy staying active at the gym, reading, mixing music, and attending live music shows.
